What is MSK Podiatry?
MSK Podiatry is the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of biomechanical conditions primarily affecting the lower limbs. Such conditions may lead to acute or longer-term problems and may also be referred to as over-use injuries.
Podiatrists who are trained in musculoskeletal practice can identify the cause and origin of lower limb dysfunction. We can therefore often help resolve many conditions that make walking, running, and standing an unpleasant experience.
Conditions such as Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia, arch strains, tibialis posterior dysfunction, bunion pain, foot arthritis, shin splints, patellofemoral, and other knee pains are all conditions regularly managed by MSK podiatrists.
Treatment can involve mobilisations, running and running technique advice, stability and exercise programs, shoe advice, shoe adaptations and foot orthoses (orthotics).

Meet the Team
Hello, my name is Kibri, I am health professional with a rich academic background and over ten years qualified experience in MSK Podiatry & Postural therapy. with comprehensive expertise in patient care and treatment.
After I graduated in Podiatry from Florence University, I decided to do postgraduate studies in lower limb pathomechanics at Barcelona University in order to understand how the human body works in motion. This made me want to better understand how the human posture works so I then did a Masters in Posturology, also at Barcelona University.
My approach is to treat the cause of patients’ complaints rather than managing their symptoms. A postural assessment allows me to identify in a single session the root cause of pain, as well as identify the right course of treatment (be it with postural treatments or with the help of other health professionals).”
I am associate member of the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and is registered with HCPC (registration number CH33395).
